Long cut shredded paper only please
Thank you to everyone who brings us shredded paper, it makes great bedding for the animals but it does have to be the long cut type. The short cross cut is unusable because it blows away all over the place, so we’re sorry that we can’t take it. Long cut is brilliant though so please do continue to bring it to us. It’s helpful if you can drive straight up into the top yard and leave it by Reception, much easier for you (and for us as we don’t have to fetch it up) and there’s plenty of parking. Everything is about disposal these days – it’s so expensive and we recycle everything we can. We always need blankets, sheets, rugs and towels for the animals. We regularly have injured dogs and cats and golden oldies who want wrapping up warm when they go to bed. Please bring us any unwanted clothes, we sort through them, nothing is wasted and we turn them into pet food care for the animals.
