Thank you for the Christmas gifts

A big thank you from Miss Nolene on behalf of all the sanctuary animals – the gifts of food and treats and goodies over the Christmas period have been wonderful.   The dogs and all the cats have really enjoyed their treats – the lovely goody box with toys in as well, was especially liked.    It makes such a difference to the dogs and cats to know that they are loved and that people are thinking about them.   Just feeding and walking them is only half of it.   They are all special and individual and because of the way our society has developed, they are dependent on us.   Dogs and cats in the wild would be independent and never come near humans, but we have made the species into pets and mostly we are dependent on them.   Where would we be without all these wonderful animals who keep us going and help us to be happy.    A big thank you from all of us to our pets as well.
