Mamma Mia

Mama Mia, an 8-month-old cat, was found malnourished and suffering from fleas and worms with adorable kittens. Mia is now receiving treatment and the kittens are being hand-reared.

These little bundles of joy are already four weeks old and on the hunt for their forever families. Mia, their brave and devoted mama, couldn’t produce enough milk to keep up with the demands of her five hungry babies. So, our team of dedicated rescuers stepped in, putting their hand-rearing skills to the test.

When she first arrived at the sanctuary, Mia was in a shocking state and feeling very sorry for herself. Poor girl! Despite our best efforts, no owner has come forward to claim her as their own. Luckily, Mia has proven to be an incredible mom, despite her own nutritional setbacks.

We’ve set up a GoFundMe appeal to raise funds for Mia’s vet fees and the much-needed kitten milk. After all, we want these little ones to grow up strong and healthy. Oh, and did we mention that Mia will receive the works too? Vaccinations, microchipping, worm and flea treatments. She’ll be one pampered kitty!
