These two lovely Guinea fowl were roaming free for some weeks before being rescued. A kind person had been feeding them but could not find who they belonged too. They both have lovely markings. We are not sure if they are male or female as Guinea Fowl are quite difficult to sex but believe they might be a pair. The males are usually larger and have a different call to the females. Female Guinea fowl tend to make a two syllable cry that sounds slightly like “buck-wheat” whereas the male makes a “Chi-Chi-Chi” sound. We’ve called one Miss Guinea and the other Betty White. They would love to go to a new home with other guinea fowl or a small holding with similar animals.
