One of the many emaciated dogs brought in over the past few weeks

This poor chap was picked up as a stray.  He's well behaved, loving and gentle - so why hasn't he been fed?  Every bone in his body sticks out, his skin is dry and tight and he has lots of little knocks and cuts.  Just show him food and he'd eat the dish as well if we let him.   And this poor dog isn't the worst we've had in recently.   A black labrador that's all head and a bag of bones for a body - a tan and white staffi x, an old alsation, another lab in shocking condition, a couple of collie x's - all excruciatingly thin and starving hungry.

We need lots of good easily digested food for these rescued strays.  It's little and often until their stomach gets back to size.  Chappie Original is our can of choice, it's fish and cereal and doesn't upset a delicate digestion.  But anything at all would be a help.  We have quite a few young dogs in as well who need puppy and junior food and as many old stagers with arthiritis and health problems.

If anyone can help with donations of food, vitamin tablets, cod liver oil and dog coats (all sizes) we'll be very grateful.
