Another emaciated dog - a Staffi this time.  He'd rather sit down than stand up - no wonder, he's in such dreadful condition.

Buttons was brought in as a stray and from the first minute we saw him we were shocked by the state he was in.   This is one of the most lovable dogs we have ever met.   He is such a fuss pot and grateful for any attention.   He has a different temperament entirely to Revel, the Alsatian, who was brought in recently in terrible condition and who is very depressed.

Buttons is a bag of bones - he didn't get this thin overnight.   Again, he was starving hungry when he came in, we're building him up gradually.   It's great to see the smile on his face when he sees his food dish coming - and what an expression - his eyes are very round, just like two big brown buttons!
