Come and cuddle the kittens

We have some beautiful kittens ready for adoption  -  come and say hello to them in our Visitor Centre open every Saturday and Sunday from 11.0 am to 4.0pm.   Check out our special greeting cards, including the very funny Simon Drew range.  We also have gifts, books, silver designer jewellery, beds, baskets, toys and treats - great coffee and cakes too.   The kits though, are the 'stars' of the show and we have a new batch of vaccinated and ready to go poppets all ready to meet you....

Some of our kits are still tinies but quite a few are ready to pack their little bags and go on to their new homes.    We'll be happy to have a chat with you about cat and kitten care, busy roads are no-go unless you are intending to have a solely indoor cat.  Some cats aren't suited to this lifestyle, others love it and hate the great outdoors, so we'll do our best to match you up.  We also have older cats who'd love to have someone special in their life.   And if you'd like a cat but can't take one home with you, it's possible to adopt one of our residents and come and see them every weekend.  We'll tell you all about it.

The ponies will be around as usual - Ruby and Daydream and Little Dorritt and Earl the baby, are on visitor duty this weekend.   We have some great personality dogs for adoption and you could even register as a Rambling Rover and take one of our 'sanctuary soulmates' out for a walk.

alt  We'd like to show you our goats but you know what they say - 'goats do roam' and ours certainly live up to that.   They made it to the village and were heading for the pub one sunny afternoon last week.  We need more fencing and if anyone would be able to donate towards post and rails and sheep netting, we'd be very grateful.  The goats are escape artists without equal!

We have lots of goodies on offer in the visitor centre - pick up a newsletter, pet care leaflets, info on our herbal remedies and holistic dog food.  If books are your thing you will be in heaven - we have thousands to browse from, also pictures, jigsaws, pet toys, collars, leads, cages, pet carriers, dog beds - bargains galore.

If you are interested in pet health care, check out our Dorwest Herbs - which are in stock now and offer tremendous health benefits to cats and dogs.  We've been using Dorwest Herbs for over 40 years and can offer countless instances where they're brought about improvement in a variety of long standing animal illnesses.  Using them to maintain health is a great benefit to most animals.

We also stock Robbie Holistic dog food and it's interesting to read about the additives that are included in other brands of dog food.   You'll get the real 'low down' on what your dog may be eating and how that relates to ill health.   Pick up a leaflet and a free sample - it comes from across the border in Bonnie Scotland (Robbie - Burns!) you'll see that it's made from carefully sourced and all natural ingredients.  Our dogs love it!

Look forward to seeing you.
