With so many extra mouths to feed over the past weeks, our supplies of dog and cat food were going down rapidly.   So when Pet Samaritans, Lynn and John arrived yesterday with a car boot loaded with pet food we were expecially pleased to see them.

It had been Lynn's birthday the week before and instead of friends and relatives giving her presents, she was thinking about the animals and had asked for pet food instead!    Everyone turned up at the birthday bash bringing, not one or two cans or pouches of Whiskas and Chappie, but whole bags and trays of it.   Absolutely wonderful and the timing couldn't have been better.    Our cats and dogs need extra rations while the weather is cold, so this was a really welcome sight.    What a great idea Lynn & John - and thanks for all your support throughout the year too.
