| We're getting more reports of dogs going missing and not being found or handed in. Where do these dogs go to? It's usually sporting breeds that go and it's likely that the dognappers are back in business - if, indeed, they ever go away. More likely is that they move to a different area and start again. Lost, found and stolen this week include ........... STOLEN - 3.2.10 - A Patterdale terrier, female, taken from her kennel in the Chesterfield area. Tracks in the snow showed that the thief had walked up the fields. This dog was bred by the owner, she is microchipped and was wearing a collar and tag. she is much loved, her owner is desperate for her return. LOST - Beginning of February - Elderly tri colour collie medium size - from Chesterfield. He's fourteen and might just have wandered off. Where is he and why hasn't he been handed in? Owners are longing for news. Contact us if you see anything of him. LOST - Jack Russell - tri colour, female, from the outskirts of Chesterfield, before Christmas. Still no news of this much loved pet. Contact us, there is a reward. LOST - 2nd February - Female cat, dark grey, microchipped, from Chesterfield area. She doesn't roam and her owner is very anxious for her return. The cat is microchipped. Please get in touch with us if you see her - we'll pass the information straight on. FOUND - Beginning of February - tan collie, long haired, old lady dog, lovely nature, found straying. Who does she belong to? We haven't had any reports about her and she hasn't been claimed. Please get in touch with us if you have lost a dog like this or know anything about her. FOUND - White staffi - before Christmas - female, lovely nature. Brought in as a stray - someone must be missing her? She's white with grey flecks, not microchipped. Please email or ring if you know her. |
