Yes, I'm looking for a new home! Please come and see me in our Adoptions Gallery. (I hope you'll come and see me at the sanctuary too!) You will bring a can or a pouch of dog food won't you? We're always hungry! |

Cinders is just a lovely, lovely people friendly dog. She is kind, good natured, well behaved and has a super pleasant personality. Easy to look after, content to stay home when you do, always happy to go for a long walk if you'd like that too.

These two super little fluffies are some of the first of this year's kittens and have just started leaving the nest - mum's not far away and keeps a close eye on her beautiful babies

This months star feature has to be Cinders - who'd been badly neglected before she first came in to us. Isn't she lovely? But wasn't she thin? Yes, even for a super slim greyhound this young lady was way too skinny. You could see all her ribs and her back bone - poor thing. Cinderella now looks much better but what this affectionate and well behaved young dog needs is her very own Prince Charming to take good care of her - for the rest of her life.

We have two superior ganders who are looking for new homes - can anyone help?
These two grand chaps have been with us for several years. White feathers, orange beaks and legs and striking blue eyes - they're very charismatic. They like to do their own thing but are easy to look after - once they know where their night time accommodation is they wander in quite happily. The ganders are always ready to come out in the morning and wander around all day, eating grass and grubs, titbits and a bit of corn and having a splash in any available water. It's only with reluctance that we are looking for a new home for them. These two lads have been a pair since they hatched and they don't really get on with anyone else. It's a gang of two! And since we have other geese who do get on, there is sometimes a problem in keeping them apart - especially in the Spring.
They are around four years old and are fit and healthy and no trouble at all. Geese do set off the alarm when any strangers are about and these two take their guard duties quite seriously. It's all for show though.
Please get in touch if you'd like to meet them - ring: 01246 456177 or email us via the website. |

Isn't it the wrong time of year for kittens? Normally, yes but this year we have had so many late arrivals, it seems as though kittening will go on all year round.
These little beauties were born to a cat that was left at the gate in a box. At least she was actually brought in to us, sometimes cats are left by the side of the road or put out with the rubbish. Three pure white and one a tiger striped tabby!
If you'd like to come and meet these super little character cats please get in touch. We don't like kits to go off to their new homes until they are at least nine weeks old but we'd be happy to reserve the kitten of your dreams for you. |

These two little beauties were very frail when they arrived but are now doing well. They've had their first vaccination and are litter trained. They are sisters and a home together would be perfect.
If you'd like to come and meet them please get in touch - via the website or email :
