Hungry Dogs - Food Appeal

Please feed us!   With so many stray dogs brought in recently, and most of them are big guys, we need lots of dog food.   Any cans and complete will do (Chappie is gentle on the digestion) and we have old dogs who need soft food and pouches.  The large animal sanctuaries do not take in strays and we are dependent on public support to keep going.  Thank you to everyone who brings food in - it soon disappears with all these hungry canines!   Also, if anyone can help towards keeping the dogs warm in this very cold weather we will be very grateful.

Has anyone lost a handsome male Alsatian?   We've had one brought in and he's fretting for his owner.

A small, elderly Jack Russell was brought in today after being found tied up to a post.  He'd been left fastened up for hours in the freezing cold and was chilled to the bone.

Fussy Eaters

You don't really expect me to eat that do you?    You've put a dish of high priced premium morsels down for your dog and he sniffs suspiciously and backs away.    He's looking at the food as though you're trying to poison him.    Do you (a) Try another flavour - maybe he's gone off Lamb and rice?   (b) Rush out and buy an even more upmarket brand.  or (c) Give him your chicken casserole instead and go and buy yourself some fish and chips?
