Training your cats to go outside to the toilet is by far the best and cheapest option.

Cats love cardboard boxes and the smaller the better.   Delilah, who is one of our resident cats, made a beeline for this tiny square of cardboard and crammed herself in it as soon as she saw it.  

Although it's thawing a little bit, there's still plenty of snow and ice here.  The ponies have heads down and are looking for their all time favourite food -  grass.  No matter what sort of food they have - hay, pony nuts, carrots - the green stuff is what they yearn to eat.  Natural is best definitely.
